Returns
At AstitvaIndia, every creation is thoughtfully handcrafted by skilled artisans, carrying with it the beauty of time,
tradition, and meticulous craftsmanship. Many of our pieces are made in small quantities or are truly one of a
kind, making every creation as unique as the hands that made it.
Because of the time, care, and craftsmanship involved in creating every piece, we are unable to accept returns
on products purchased from AstitvaIndia.
Exchange for Clothing
If you wish to exchange a garment for a different size or colour, you may request an exchange within 7 days of
receiving your order.
To be eligible for an exchange, the garment must be unused, unworn, unwashed, returned with all original tags
attached, be in its original packaging, and be free from stains, perfume, deodorant, alterations, or any signs of
use.
Exchange requests are subject to availability. Each garment is eligible for only one exchange. Customers are
responsible for return shipping charges, while AstitvaIndia will bear the shipping cost of sending the
replacement product.
Credit Note
If an exchange is not suitable, AstitvaIndia may issue a Credit Note equal to the value of the product. Credit
Notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issue, can be redeemed against any purchase on AstitvaIndia,
and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.
Non Exchangeable Categories
Jewellery, Bags, and Home Décor are not eligible for return, exchange, or Credit Notes.
Sale & Discounted Products
Products purchased during a sale, promotional offer, or with any discount are not eligible for exchange, return,
or Credit Notes. All such purchases are considered final.
Damaged Products
Every order is carefully inspected before dispatch. If your jewellery, bag, or home décor piece arrives
damaged during transit, we will gladly replace it with a new piece. Damage must be reported within 48 hours of
delivery.
Parcel Opening Video
A continuous parcel opening video is mandatory for all damage claims. The video should begin before the
package is opened and clearly capture the complete unboxing process. Unfortunately, damage claims cannot
be processed without a parcel opening video.
Handmade Nature of Our Products
Minor variations in colour, weave, texture, embroidery, print placement, natural stones, wood grain, brass
patina, and handcrafted finishes are inherent characteristics of handmade products and are not considered
defects.
Textile & Craftsmanship Disclaimer
The textiles, natural dyes, handcrafted embellishments, and traditional zari used in AstitvaIndia creations are
selected for their authenticity and artisanal character. Slight variations in colour, texture, sheen, or finish may
naturally occur over time. AstitvaIndia does not provide a guarantee against colour variation, fading, or the
natural ageing of textiles, zari, fabrics, or handcrafted finishes arising from normal use, washing, storage,
environmental conditions, or the passage of time.
Colour Representation
We make every effort to present our products as accurately as possible. However, slight colour variations may
occur due to photography, lighting, screen settings, and individual device displays. Such variations are not
considered defects.
Quality Inspection
All exchange requests are subject to a quality inspection once the product reaches our studio. AstitvaIndia
reserves the right to decline an exchange if the returned product does not meet the eligibility conditions
outlined in this policy.
Custom & Made to Order Products
Customised, personalised, altered, or made-to-order products are not eligible for return, exchange, or Credit
Notes.
